Columbia University Facilities and Operations (CUFO) showcased its commitment to fostering economic inclusivity at the distinguished 2023 Ascend National Conference held in July at Loyola Marymount University. The two-day event brought together program managers across the national Ascend ecosystem and focused on providing minority-owned businesses with personal strategies for growth.

This innovative partnership combines the strength of Columbia University Facilities and Operations (CUFO) with Ascend NYC collaborative partners and its Anchor Council.

Columbia University Facilities and Operations hosted Ascend Cities’ National Conference at Columbia’s Faculty House from July 12-14, bringing together the program’s partners, business owners, academics, and business community anchors from across the country to share best practices in supporting businesses owned by people of color, women, and veterans.
